Women’s SUP Surf Camp Retreat

Date: 1/5/2019 | Location: Nosara, Costa Rica

Nosara Paddlesurf offers an all inclusive SUP Surf Camp experience. Their SUP Camp is included in National Geographic as a Best Winter Trips 2014. This retreat includes both SUP enthusiasts keen to surf waves and improve their surfing as well as SUP athletes serious about taking their SUP surfing to the next level.

PNW ORCA Winter Series Race #1: Wasabi Bridge To Bridge 2019

Date: 1/5/2019 | Location: Portland, Oregon

 Join Wasabi Paddling Club for the first winter series race of 2019. We’re returning to the old Rusty Iron race course, but have added a great new twist. The course begins at Fred’s Marina on the Multnomah Channel, then races to St. John’s Bridge and back. This course offers 4 distinct legs with stunning views at each turn (let’s hope it’s not raining). There is an 8-mile long course, and a 4-mile short course for SUP and novices!

Surf Expo

Date: 1/10/2019 – 1/12/2019 | Location: Orlando, Florida

Surf Expo is produced in January and September in Orlando, Florida and draws buyers from specialty stores across the U.S., the Caribbean, Central and South America and around the world. The show features more than 2,000 booths of apparel and hardgoods and a full line-up of special events, fashion shows and demos.

Bob Hanna Classic

The Classic returns, better then ever! All Paddle craft are welcome. Kayaks, Surf-skis, Canoe, Outriggers, SUP’s K-1’s, K-2’s, OC6. There will be a 5 and 8-mile race courses along with a 2-mile short course set on race day.

Return to the Pier

The 2019 Return to the Pier features races for open ocean SUP, OC1, OC2, Prone, and surfski in both 5-miles and 9-miles (no SUP or Prone) courses.

Neptunalia Winter Challenge

The 5th Annual Neptunalia Winter Challenge returns to Palm Bay, Florida mid January and promises loads of fun. The Event offers a 3-mile, 5-mile and 10-mile race for paddlers of all ages.

La Ventana Classic

Date: 1/16/2019 – 1/20/2019 | Location: Baja, Mexico

Compete in a variety of spectacular “downwind” races during the La Ventana Classic! Each day brings an adventurous paddle and excellent chance to race with the wind at your back. Run with the group on the amazing and most scenic Las Cruces Downwinder (8 Miles), cross the Sea of Cortez from Jacque Cousteau Island (Cerralvo Island Crossing – 11 miles) and enjoy several mini-downwinder courses that are set along the beautiful La Ventana Baja Sur coast.

101 Surf Sports Paddle Race San Rafael SR2

The 2018 Race Season at 101 Surf Sports is on with racing action in SUP, Prone, Outrigger, Surfski, Kayak, and SUP. Event is limited to 101 entrants no exceptions. New this year is the Inflatable Paddleboard Category. We are stoked on the performance of these boards and look forward to seeing lots of inflatables out on the race course. This is a perfect race for first time racers and elite athletes alike.

Every Man & His Dog Australia Day SUP

Date: 1/26/2019 | Location: Watsons Bay, NSW, Australia

The last four Australia Day’s have seen the success of the Every Man and His Dog SUP Event Watsons Bay. Watson Bay beachfront on Australia Day is now recognised as a day where the surrounding communities, dog owners and elite athletes, come together to celebrate our national day and show appreciation and admiration to the sport of Stand Up Paddling. But most of all to have fun!

Hano Hano Huki Ocean Challenge

Hanohano Outrigger Canoe Club and Huki Outrigger would like to invite you to the 24th Annual Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge to be held in Mission Bay, San Diego, Ca. on January 26th, 2019. The Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge is one of the Longest Running Paddlesport Races in California. We’ve always had a great mix of top level professional athletes and beginners from ages 7-80.

Lazy Dog SUP Fest

Date: 1/27/2019 | Location: Key West, Florida

Racers will charge out from Lazy Dog, enter the residential Riviera canal and paddle right through the heart of Cayo Hueso aka “Bone Island,” winding through narrow red mangrove tunnels before paddling out in to the picturesque Gulf of Mexico, then racers will slice down Cow Key Channel and back to Lazy Dog for the FINISH!
