4. SUP Team Organizes Challenge to Save Adriatic Dolphins

Croatia has an extraordinary natural treasure: The last Adriatic dolphins. Only one species still lives there today: the bottlenose dolphins known from dolphinariums and the television series “Flipper” or “Good dolphin” (Dobri Dupin) in Croatian. The “Istrian SUP challenge” is a charity project that is specifically dedicated to the rescue of the last surviving Adriatic dolphins off the coast of Croatia. More details HERE.

3. USA Juniors Dominate & Technical Race Gold Medals Awarded at ISA China

On day two of the Technical SUP races it was Hungary’s Daniel Hasulyo and USA’s Candice Appleby who claimed Gold Medals in exciting fashion on the sixth day of competition at the 2018 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship in Wanning, China. History was also made when team USA flexed their junior SUP talent and swept the first-ever Under-18 Technical Race Gold Medals. Jade Howson and Ryan Funk were respectively crowned World Champions in the Girls U-18 and Boys U-18 Divisions. Read recap HERE.

2. Underdogs Capture Thrilling SUP Sprint Gold Medals

Team Brazil’s Arthur Santacreu and South Africa’s Tarryn King respectively charged to victory earning the Men’s and Women’s SUP Sprint Gold Medals at the ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship in Wanning, China. Read more HERE.

1. Booth & Piana Dominate Distance Races in China

Australia’s Michael Booth and France’s Olivia Piana were the standouts of the day, both commanding their distance races and taking home Gold Medals at the ISA World SUP & Paddleboard Championship in China. Read the full recap HERE.
